KUALA LUMPUR: Honor Malaysia has officially launched the Honor 10 Lite today.

Influenced by the latest trend, Honor 10 Lite is the first Honor device to ditch the notch and incorporates the dewdrop design which allows for a larger screen-to-body ratio at 90 per cent and a 19.5:9 display. The 6.21-inch Full HD display now fits within a 5.2-inch body.

Powered by Kirin 710 octa-core processor, the Honor 10 Lite runs the latest EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie. It boasts a 3GB of RAM with two versions available - 32GB of ROM or 64GB of ROM, which can be expandable up to 512GB. All this is juiced by a 3,400mAh battery.

In terms of photography, Honor 10 Lite offers a 24MP AI selfie camera, which has a beauty algorithm that can customise effects based on your age, gender and skin tone for a natural look.

The phone has an upgraded 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with f/1.8 aperture which Honor says is able to absorb 50 per cent more light. It is also able to detect 22 scene recognitions with the AI camera.

The camera also has several smart features, including AI Translation and AI Shopping which uses the camera to spot objects and directs to relevant sites or similar items for purchase.

An interesting function of Honor 10 Lite is its possibility for a triple Bluetooth connection, so there’s no more struggle to choose between connecting your earphones, watches or car kits.

The 32GB Honor 10 Lite which comes in Midnight Black and Sky Blue is priced at RM749, while the 64GB version comes in Sapphire Blue and Shiny Red, and retails for RM799.

However, users will be able to enjoy a special price for the 32GB version – at only RM699 tomorrow exclusively at Honor Malaysia’s website and e-commerce site Lazada.

At the launch, Honor also introduced two wearables – the Honor Band 4 and Honor Band 4 Running.

The Honor Band 4 comes with multi-sport function that caters to various fitness needs including outdoor running, cycling, swimming and many others besides recording calories and real-time heart rate.

The Honor Band 4 Running, which as the name tells, focuses more on running features.

It can be worn on the wrist or attach the body to your shoes to monitor foot strike pattern and impact, swing angle, step length and more.

The Honor Band 4 comes in Black and is priced at RM149, while the Honor Band 4 Running is priced at RM79 and comes in Red and Green. Both the wearables will be sold exclusively online at Honor Malaysia’s website.
