HONOR has launched its flagship foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V2, in Malaysia.
Pre-orders for the device are now open at RM6,999.
One key highlight of this foldable smartphone is its slimness — the HONOR Magic V2 measures 9.9mm when unfolded, even thinner than a typical smartphone.
This achievement is possible thanks to HONOR's global research and development (R&D) team of 8,000 people, which enables them to create products like the HONOR Magic V2. The tech giant also invests 10 per cent of its annual revenue in R&D.
The HONOR Magic V2 is constructed with 210 patented technologies, as revealed during its launch event.
It incorporates a silicon-carbon battery, risk-free dimming eye-care screen and falcon capture camera.
The flagship smartphone is capable of folding over 400,000 times, and has earned the SGS High Reliability Folding Quality Gold Standard Certification. The external screen of HONOR Magic V2 is also durable — it is made with second generation nanocrystal glass and certified with 5-Star Drop Resistance Certification from SGS.
Over a million units of the HONOR Magic V2 have been produced since its China launch, and the flagship leads the foldable smartphone market in China with a 25 per cent share, according to market analysis firm Omdia.
Customers in Malaysia can pre-order the HONOR Magic V2 and get free gifts worth up to RM3,247, including the HONOR CHOICE Robot Cleaner R2, a Foldable phone gravity car phone holder and the HONOR 365-Day Screen Protection.
If the smartphone's screen gets damaged within the first 180 days of purchase, customers can enjoy a free replacement for both the internal and external screens.
Customers can also get a 50 per cent off screen replacement service for both the internal and external screens within 365 days of purchase.
