KUALA LUMPUR: Viral videos showing a crocodile biting and dragging a baby elephant into Sungai Kinabatangan in Sabah has left netizens shocked.
In two videos posted by Facebook user Mudah Sarigak, the crocodile could be seen dragging what could be a baby pygmy elephant by its trunk into a river, as people screamed in the background.
Netizens shared their shock in the comments section of the posts.
"All crocodiles should be shot dead," said user Az Yiemzara Legacy.
If the mother elephant was there, "the crocodile would be cut into half", said user Zainuddin Molok.
"It is dangerous. They kill and eat humans as well," said user Reni Oh Reni.
"Don't give it a chance, just shoot it," said user Matshah Ikmal.
