KOTA TINGGI: A cow sleeping on the road caused a three-vehicle collision in Jalan Inas in Bandar Tenggara, near here early today.
Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Mohd Norul Fazuddin Shafie said the 12.33am accident occurred when men aged 25, 27 and 57, who were in their respective cars, did not notice the cow on the road due to it the darkness and crashed into it.
The 57-year- old in a Proton Wira and 25-year-old in a Toyota SEG sustained injuries, while the other motorist was uninjured.
The cow was killed when the Wira driver crashed into it. The remaining drivers were unable to stop in time and crashed into the Wira.
Norul said after the drivers with injuries were treated, the carcass was removed from the road. The operation ended at 1.10am.
