KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood victims at relief centres in Kelantan and Terengganu has decreased to 6,350 as of 12pm today.
The Terengganu Disaster Management Committee secretariat in a Facebook post today said there were no flood victims being placed in any relief centre except in Hulu Terengganu.
In Hulu Terengganu, 1,952 evacuees from 563 families were evacuated to 11 relief centres.
The committee also reported there were no flood victims at the relief centres in Kuala Terengganu, Kemaman, Besut, Dungun, Marang, Setiu and Kuala Nerus for now.
At the same time, the National Disaster Command Centre (NDCC) today recorded 4,398 flood victims from 1,408 families at 15 flood relief centres across Kelantan.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department had forecast continuous rain in Terengganu until tomorrow and heavy rain in several areas in Kelantan.
