Good Samaritans continue to help needy with food supplies

KUALA LUMPUR: A team of good Samaritans continue to reach out to those in need by providing them with food supplies and other essentials.

The team is led by Yazid Sufaat, who is self-funded and recently handed out essentials to 20 single mothers and orphans at Kg Pandan Dalam, Tmn Cempaka and PKNS PJ Flats.

"My family and friends wanted to contribute to the society and this way, we are able to do so.

"We usually get calls or are informed by others about those who are in need," Yazid said.

Additionally, Yazid also placed the supplies at pick up locations such as Dapor Kak Hawa in Ampang.

"This community drive will continue as long as there is a need for help and people continue to contact us.

"We know the recent pandemic and movement control orders (MCO) have left many in need and we will do our best to reach out to those we can," added Yazid.
