PAGOH: Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia here welcomed students back recently, ensuring all rules were strictly followed.

Students had their temperatures scanned and MySejahtera checked before being registered.

Only a small number of parents were allowed inside the compound.

"Self-monitoring is crucial for every student. They must follow SOP and stay away from lectures and labs if they feel unwell," said UTHM Pagoh provost Associate Professor Dr Kamarulzaki Mustafa, who is also Pagoh Higher Education Hub technical management chairman.

He added that UTHM used online and digital methods to minimise physical classes as much as possible.

Professor Dr Md Saidin Wahab was recently appointed assistant deputy chancellor for digitalisation and infrastructure to enhance the university's digital content and facilitate online classes.
