KOTA TINGGI: A Toyota Alphard driver lost control of his vehicle and plunged into a ravine upstream of Sungai Sedili in an incident along Jalan Kota Tinggi - Mersing, here yesterday.
The driver was trapped in his multi-purpose-vehicle seat and was unable to free himself.
District Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Ibrahim Wahid said eight personnel were despatched to the scene after an emergency call was placed by passers-by at 4.06pm .
They immediately extricated the victim and provided on-site treatment before he was rushed to the hospital.
Ibrahim said it took personnel almost two hours to pull in the MPV from the ravine.
