Since it began, 'I Can See Your Voice Malaysia' (ICSYVMY) has been a phenomenon among reality TV fans with up to 14 million views over six seasons.
The much-anticipated singing competition is back for its seventh edition with more mystery singers, along with a new line-up of permanent panels made up of well-known Malaysian celebrities.
Keeping to the concept and format of the original show from South Korea, Season 7 (ICSYVMY7) maintains Izzue Islam and Shiha Zikir as hosts.
"ICSYVMY's seventh season promises many new and exciting elements. The audience will be able to witness funny behaviour that will surely brighten up their night.
"We have gone to great lengths to ensure that each episode is more entertaining than the last," said the show's executive producer, Jamil Hassan, in a recent press conference.
Izzue and Shiha echoed his view.
"We are very happy to be back with the audience and can't wait to witness the great surprises that await," Izzue said, while Shiha added, "Every season has its uniqueness and we are sure this season will be the best yet."
Season 7's permanent investigative panel will consist of Naim Daniel, Riena Diana, Bell Ngasri and Siti Khadijah Halim.
Viewers will also get to watch performances with special themes, ranging from horror to Bollywood, rock and retro, in certain episodes.
This season will feature not just singers, but also actors and comedians as guest artistes.
The line-up of regular and guest panels will be given four rounds to help guest artistes pick the real singer.
Contestants who make it to the final round and are impersonators will win a RM3,000 cash prize each, while real singers may get the opportunity to join Alternate Records & Talents and record singles with famous composers.
This mystery music game show requires a consensus to identify and decide which impersonator should be eliminated.
As usual, the guest artistes will get the assistance of a panel of regular investigators and a panel of guest investigators to identify the real impersonators and singers in each episode.
This time, the guest artistes include Sharif Zero, Chacha Maembong, Amy Mastura, Janna Nick, Khai Bahar and Adira Suhaimi.
Meanwhile, the panel of guest investigators include Ryan Bakery, Azhan Rani, Anna Jobling, Nadeera, Ernie Zakri and Datuk Yusof Haslam.
