KUALA LUMPUR: Despite having faced problems such as being robbed and attacked with black magic, singer and entrepreneur Shiha Zikir remains undeterred to open a second branch of her Shiha Zikir Nasi Ayam restaurant in Shah Alam, Selangor.

In a recent Harian Metro report, the 36-year-old said she had to face those unfortunate incidents within the first year of opening her first outlet located in Kampung Baru here.

"I used to get calls from friends wondering why the restaurant was closed, sometimes for three days in a row.

"But when I checked with the staff there, they said it had always been open as usual," she said.

Shiha added: "Some of my family members who also run food outlets had shared similar incidents.

"So, what I did was to get advice from an ustaz, asking him to teach me some prayers to help protect my business and myself.

"That's the best I could do, to ask for protection directly from Allah," she said.

The restaurant was also broken into, soon after it began operating last year.

"The total loss was estimated to be close to RM20,000, but luckily I wasn't shaken by it.

"I lodged a report, did all I had to do and thankfully, the culprit was eventually nabbed by the police," she said.
