KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Bhd (MPB) has introduced the 'RaRa Macam Dulu-Dulu' campaign to cherish the traditions, nostalgia and embrace the cultural richness of Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

MPB chief marketing officer Amir Rasyidi Johari said the campaign was about encouraging people to look back at the much loved practice of Ramadan and the Aidilfitri celebration in the old days.

"We often forget the culture and old practices that make Ramadan and raya so special.

"So, this campaign is aimed at bringing back the warmth and simplicity of yesteryears. It is about cherishing the traditions that truly define Hari Raya

"The 'RaRa Macam Dulu-Dulu' campaign embodies Media Prima Berhad's commitment to preserving cultural heritage while celebrating the vibrancy of modern-day festivities," he said in a statement.

One of the highlights of the campaign include the performance of its theme song 'Macam Dulu-Dulu' performed by Khai Bahar and Marsha Milan, a tune which evokes nostalgia and uplifts the spirits.

"It will then continue with the Geng Ori x Jom Ronda corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign dedicated at honouring senior citizens by doing various fun activities and heartfelt engagements."

"This initiative will spread joy across eight old folks' homes in four regions comprising the north (Kedah and Pulau Pinang), east (Kelantan and Terengganu), south (Johor and Melaka) and central (Sungai Buloh and Ampang)."

MPB will also organise the 'Absolut Bazaar x Festival Gaya Raya' On-Ground Event' an extravagant all-in-one Ramadan bazaar that will run for 66 hours straight at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre Kuala Lumpur (MITEC KL) next week.

Visitors will get a chance to experience the 'Zon Macam Dulu-Dulu,' a nostalgic corner featuring an old-school 'kedai runcit' and a plethora of interactive activities.

"From celebrity meet-and-greets to fun-filled games, the event promises an unforgettable journey amidst the charm of yesteryears.

"The 'Zon Macam Dulu-Dulu' is located at Lot D10, which located right at the main entrance to the hall at MITEC KL from March 29 to April 1 this year."
