AZRAI Aizad Abu Kamal is becoming a hockey goal-machine for Malaysia.

The 23-year-old's prowess has seen him clinch the national league's top scorer award with TNB, 40 goals last season and 32 goals this season.

And remarkably, Azrai emerged top scorer in the Sultan Azlan Shah (SAS) Cup with eight goals, including two hat-tricks against Pakistan and New Zealand.

This has increased his tally to 28 goals in 75 international matches, and Azrai's rise has even led to him eclipsing his idol Faizal Saari, who scored only three goals in the SAS Cup.

"I don't consider myself a sharp or clinical finisher; I just have been good with the chances in front of goal.

"I don't set high targets when I play. I only aim to score at least one goal."
