KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Bhd's 'RaRa Macam Dulu-Dulu' campaign for Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri culminated in star-studded open houses at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama and Balai Berita in Bangsar today.

Themed 'Macam Dulu-Dulu', the events featured musical performances by various MPB departments and the top singers along with guests enjoying an array of dishes amidst a festive atmosphere.

A highlight was a lively musical sketch peformed by the New Straits Times Press team comprising its group managing editor Datuk Ahmad Zaini Kamaruzzaman, New Straits Times group editor Farrah Naz Karim and others in the management.

The first part of the event from 10 to 1pm in Sri Pentas featured performances by Aina Abdul, Amir Jahari and Ziana Zain, while second event from 2pm to 5pm in Balai Berita saw Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Datuk Ramli Sarip, Ramlah Ram and Elly Mazlein serenading the crowd.

Guests tucked into grilled meat, nasi minyak, rendang satay, lemang, Korean food Topokki and many types of desserts.

NST executive director Sharanjit Singh said this year's celebration was much more merrier than what was expected. He said it was good to see everyone from different departments within MPB and NSTP.

"It's great to see everyone from different departments within NSTP coming together.

"Getting to know our colleagues from different departments as we gather to celebrate gives us time to unwind a little from work.

"Along with the performances by veteran artistes, it is nice to see colleagues joining in to sing along and dancing," he said.
