KUALA LUMPUR: Vietnam have overtaken Cambodia to take the top spot in the Phnom Penh Sea Games overall standings with a 49 gold, 50 silver and 59 bronze haul so far.
Competition among the top three nations remains tight with Cambodia (47-41-51) in second thanks to a better silver medal haul than Thailand (47-34-53) who have now dropped to third.
Indonesia (34-31-56), Philippines (26-44-55) and Singapore (26-23-25) occupy the fourth to sixth places while Malaysia remains in seventh on 21-21-40.
Myanmar (14-11-31) and Laos (5-11-35) are eighth and ninth while Brunei (1-1-4) and Timor-Leste bring up the rear.
