MACHANG: Umno members must have the spirit or roh to ensure their struggle in the party is met with success.
Prime Minister and party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak said a struggle would fail, if it was based on vengeance or anger.
"If the struggle is from the heart, it will be blessed by Allah," he said at a Meet The People gathering and launch of the parliamentary constituency's people housing project, here, today.
Najib said they must also have two other principles, unity among the leadership and undivided loyalty to the leadership.
"Members must be loyal to the leadership not only in front but back them solidly.
"Party leaders must also show that they are united day and night," he said.
Najib said they must also show undivided loyalty to the party leadership.
"If party members maintained these three principles, I am confident that the 14th general election will belong to Barisan Nasional," he said.
