KUALA LUMPUR: Robert Peter Williams (Robbie Williams), an English singer and songwriter, felt bizarre after being unrecognised in central London.

The 50-year-old pop star felt concerned after walking through Hyde Park, London with his wife Ayda Field Williams, 45, without being bothered by the public.

"This is very concerning. We didn't know we were going to walk back from the restaurant, I'm dressed completely in pink.

"Absolutely nobody has recognised me or bothered me, and I really need them to.

"It wasn't like this in the 90s," he said in a video on his Instagram.

Ayda said it is upsetting for her husband, and suggested he ask the public if they recognise him.

In @aydafieldwilliams IG account, three separate videos were posted throughout the incident.

One of the videos, Robert was recorded by Ayda lying beside the pedestrian walk, trying to attract public attention.

Each video garnered over one million views and thousands of comments, with viewers amused by Robert's actions.

"This is bloody hilarious. Poor Robbie but how nice for Rob!," said @joolysut.

"I love this, but how good is it that you can take a walk and have freedom. If you had two guys in black suits and glasses walking behind you, I bet people would then notice," said @carlafitzpatrick_aus.

Robert Peter Williams is a singer who gained fame as a member of the pop group 'Take That' from 1990 to 1995, and later pursued a solo career starting in 1996.

His first studio album, "Life thru a Lens", was released in 1997 and featured his top-selling single, "Angels".
