KUALA LUMPUR: Three cats dressed as bridal attendants stole the show at a wedding in Kota Baru, Kelantan.

According to a BuletinTV3 report, the cats — Louissa, Pocci and Snowy — accompanied newlyweds Wan Mohd Nasoha Wan Mohd Zain, 39 and Nor Shaibah Yusoff, 23, on their special day last Saturday.

Dressed in songket, flowy dresses and accessories, the cats, led by their respective owners, walked with the newlyweds towards the bridal dais.

Wan Mohd Nasoha said a video of the three cats accompanying them on their wedding day went viral.

"My intention was to showcase the cats to uplift the wedding ceremony, as a symbolic representation of our story, which started with cats.

"I run a cat grooming service, and my friend, who is also my wife's brother, often sends his cats to be groomed. Through this relationship, I got to know my wife.

"We were friends for about a year before getting engaged last August. I suggested showcasing four fashionably dressed cats at the wedding, but one of them couldn't make it."

Wan Mohd Nasoha, who also runs a laundry business, said that even though it was their special day, Louissa, Pocci and Snowy stole the spotlight, with many guests taking pictures with the felines.

"The cats waited patiently for us at the hall, even though we were slightly late, and they behaved well around the guests."
