ROMPIN: A "Derma Darah Keluarga Malaysia" blood donation drive was held at the Kuala Rompin Hall here recently.
A total of 90 people donated blood in the event organised by the Rompin Community Welfare Department, state Malaysia Society for Community Aid and nine other agencies.
"We would like to thank all donors for their generosity. This event will be organised regularly to ensure we are never short in blood supply," said state Malaysia Society for Community Aid chairman Khartigeyan Krishnan.
The agencies and organisations participating in the half-day programme included Puspanita Rompin, SWCorp Rompin, Rompin Welfare Volunteer Organisation and Pekan Hospital's Blood Bank and Pathology Department.
