PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Omnia's hugely popular 'Jom Ronda' campaign is back again, this time featuring more than 4,000 goody bags with an assortment of products, including from title sponsor Redoxon.

The gifts include face masks, a self-test kit, Redoxon Triple Action effervescent tablets as well as a pack of Jasmine Super 5 Rice, which are set to be distributed to communities in the Klang Valley, Covid-19 mega vaccination centres (PPV) and selected charity homes.

Popular celebrities such as Haziq from HotFM and Orange from 8FM will be joining the Jom Ronda 2022 crew to visit local communities in the areas.

Media Prima Omnia chief executive officer Datuk Michael Chan said the maiden 'Jom Ronda' campaign was a roaring success, which prompted them to continue to spread the joy and excitement to an even wider audience.

"Our brand partners have been wonderful to work with on this vision to bring a greater sense of community during these trying times. By distributing products from recognised brand names, we hope to create a bond between the brands and communities.

"This connection can develop into a memorable experience for everyone involved while still being compliant to the Covid-19 prevention standard operating procedures (SOP)," he said at the flag-off session held at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama today.

Bayer Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Sook Fun Leong, who was also present, said Redoxon was pleased to partner with Media Prima for the Jom Ronda campaign.

"This campaign is very meaningful for Redoxon as we continue to serve the consumers and the community that we live in.

"It also brings our brand purpose to life, as Redoxon is always striving to nurture human resilience through good health so people will have the ability to confidently embrace unpredictable challenges ahead.

"Additionally, self-care has become a priority for many people in Malaysia where they desire healthy ingredients in their diet, regular exercises and an increase in Vitamin C consumption to support healthy immunity.

Chan and Sook, together with official vehicle partner UMW Toyota, were joined by previous lucky winners from the previous Jom Ronda event to flag off the campaign,

This year, a total of 25 lucky winners will stand a chance to win a variety of mystery prizes such as smartphones, air purifiers and more Redoxon products by sharing creative photos with the campaign's products on social media.
