Media Prima Group chairman Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Syed Aljunid viewed the visit as recognition for the group's important role in the Malaysian media landscape and its commitment to delivering quality content through its various media platforms.

He said the media has consistently played a pivotal role in disseminating truth to the public under the 16th Agong's administration.

"As we are well aware, throughout the tenure of His Majesty, Malaysia has remained resilient and progressed despite facing multifaceted challenges, including the global Covid 19 pandemic and political leadership crises.

"The sagacity of His Majesty in navigating and resolving crisis after crisis has successfully fostered unity among the diverse segments of our society.

"Amidst addressing these challenges, His Majesty has also been proactive in ensuring that media practitioners are provided opportunities to transparently convey news and information to the entire Malaysian populace," he said in his speech.
