PUTRAJAYA: The Social Security Organisation (Socso) has recruited homegrown superhero BoBoiBoy to promote its Return to Work (RTW) programme.

In conjunction with RTW's 15th anniversary, Socso launched its first fully animated advertising video on efforts undertaken through the RTW programme, which is a sustainable management programme to help injured or recoverable Socso contributors to recover and return to work early, healthy and safe.

Socso chief executive officer Datuk Seri Dr Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohamad said the animated advertisement was also a fresh approach by Socso to provide awareness and educate `Keluarga Malaysia', especially the younger generation on the process of early disability management intervention under the Socso RTW programme.

"Starting from 2007 to Feb 2022, Socso's RTW programme has helped 42,926 people return to work," said Azman.

In collaboration with a local animation company, Animonsta Studios Sdn Bhd, the 142-second advertisement featured a young man who was involved in a road accident while delivering food. The young man lost his limbs in the accident, but with the help of Socso's RTW Rehabilitation Programme, he was able to work again.

In the advertisement clip, the Socso CEO also made a special appearance.

The promotional advertisement will be aired on Media Prima's TV3 starting from March 11 and it can also be viewed online via the official social media platforms of Socso and Animonsta Studios.

The public can visit Socso's website at www.perkeso.gov.my or contact Socso careline at 1-300-22-8000 for more information.
