KUALA LUMPUR: A fan of Mark from K-pop band NCT127 recently broke the internet when she shared two Polaroid photos of herself with the star on X (formerly Twitter).

The fan, identified as @antzhooray on the social media platform, had apparently sent many other fans dubbed NCTzens reeling with envy and talking about "Mark and fan polaroid."

It was understandable why the photos garnered attention, since the images looked like intimate moments between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

Mark was even seen in one holding the fan's face.

The post went viral with more than 1.4 million and 4.1 million views on X and TikTok respectively.

Many wondered how much such an interaction would cost.

One netizen explained that the Japanese Mumo store would award the top five buyers an opportunity to take photos with their idols.

According to that person, a friend who had taken pictures with Haechan (one of Mark's bandmates) spent $16,000.

Although the actual currency could not be ascertained, it was still not a cheap affair.
