MALAYSIA very own tech company Meen Tech Network Sdn Bhd (Meen Tech), marked its official entry into the smartphone market with the introduction of its flagship smartphone series — the Meen M60.

The smartphone comes high-quality specifications and technology complemented with novel innovations and supplementary services designed to create a new and holistic experience for users.

The 6.53-inch M60 offers dual-camera photography capability with a 16-megapixel front camera, and an AI algorithms for better selfies, with a 64-megapixel high-definition main camera on the rear.

Powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space with support for an additional 256GB of external memory.

"For decades we toiled in the background of the smartphone industry - honing our skills and capabilities. Now as the Merdeka month rolls in we are immensely proud to step up and showcase our abilities, as a Malaysian-born and bred company," said Meen Tech's chief executive officer Yuen Mun Kwun at the product launch.

Also in the pipeline are plans to introcude more models like the Meen Tech M70, and i19 series smartphones, set to debut in the first quarter of 2024.

The new Meen M60 retails for RM3,499.
