KUALA LUMPUR: The biggest Grand Final esports tournament in Malaysia/Singapore region, PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) MY/SG Season 3 saw esports team RSG Malaysia, that consists of SmallBoY, Vokey, BadMaN, Kim, and ChillreX crowned as champion.

After 18 matches, the win created a new chapter in the PMPL Competition as RSG Malaysia emerged in first place, replacing Team Secret who were the champions in the previous two seasons had to give up their title and settle for 8th place, while the winner of Regular Season, Dingoz MPX finished in 9th position.

The Grand Final Round at PMPL MY/SG Season 3, which was broadcasted live for three days was a very competitive tournament with many unpredictable surprises for the audience, for instance, RSG Malaysia who suddenly seized victory in PMPL MYSG S3 with a total of 196 points, just 19 points above Geek Fam.

RSG's appearance was very surprising as the team only sat in 14th place in the regular season stage. They secured five Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and 92 kill points more than any other team.

As the winner, the RSG Malaysia team won a cash prize of US$15,000 (RM61,500). The second place winner, the Geek Fam Malaysia team won a cash prize of US$10,000. They were followed in third place by the Anti Circle team who won a cash prize of US$7,500.

As top two winners, RSG Malaysia and Geek Fam Malaysia teams are entitled to receive golden tickets to advance to the PMPL Southeast Asia (SEA) S3 Grand Final which will be held on May 21-23. They will be accompanied by Dingoz MPX, who managed to secure their place, after winning the PMPL Malaysia Season 3 Regular Season round.

In addition, the top two teams in this season's PMPL, Dingoz MPX and Team Secret, will have a special opportunity to compete in the Peace Elite Asia Invitational 2021 competition.

In this tournament, the Malaysian RSG team member, Amirol "Kim" Hakiem Sabaruddin was also awarded the Most Valuable Player title winning a cash prize of US$2,000 for his achievements. Amirol achieved this with 40 total kills dealing damage of 8,773 and with an average of survival for 357 minutes 37 seconds during this competition.

The PMPL MYSG series is a competition that expands the scope of the esports ecosystem in Malaysia, especially for PUBG Mobile scene.
