KUALA LUMPUR: Brendan Gan, whose contract was not renewed by Selangor, will remain in the Klang Valley with his new club, KL City.

In a 33-second video clip, the City Boys announced the signing of the Australian-Malaysian midfielder for the new M-League season, which starts next month.

The video shows the 36-year-old clad in a KL City t-shirt at the KLFA Stadium and the Petronas Twin Towers.

Brendan recorded a heartfelt message on Instagram thanking Selangor after four seasons on Sunday.

He helped the Red Giants finish second in the Super League last season to qualify for the AFC Champions League 2.

He also played for Harimau Malaya in the Asian Cup and recently in the World Cup qualifiers.
