KUALA LUMPUR: Everybody knew the outcome; everybody knew Perak would be beaten badly.

So Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) duly crushed Perak 8-1 in the Malaysia Cup semi-final second leg at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium yesterday.

The aggregate score hit the double digit figure - 12-2 over two legs.

Super League and FA Cup champions JDT saw a brace each from Bergson Da Silva, Syafiq Ahmad and Heberty Fernandes. Also on target were Arif Aiman Hanapi (12th minute) and Fernando Forestieri (52nd).

Perak, though completely outclassed, deserved at least a goal for their fighting spirit, and the visitors did get it just before the final whistle through Firdaus Ahmad Fuad.

JDT will meet the winners of today's semi-final second leg between KL City and Terengganu in the final on Dec 9.
