KUALA LUMPUR: Pahang interim coach Dollah Salleh is banking on his new batch of foreign players to deliver again when they face Penang in the Super League at City Stadium tomorrow.

Dollah said Steven Rodriguez, Sherzod Fayziev and Kevin Ingreso, who signed in the second transfer window, are starting to produce results.

Pahang's return to form saw them stay unbeaten in their last four league matches and rising to fifth in the table from 11th.

With the foreign trio hitting form, the Elephants seem to have turned the corner with three wins and one draw since the FA Cup quarter-final loss to Penang on July 23.

"I was not impressed with the new striker, Rodriguez, initially but he seems to have hit form. Maybe because I gave him the freedom to play," said Dollah.

"It's the same for Fayziev, I was doubtful earlier of him leading the defence but he has shown improvement. Ingresso also proved that he can deliver what I wanted in midfield."

Dollah is out for revenge against Penang who inflicted a 5-2 defeat on them in the FA Cup.

But today, Dollah will find himself up against his "best friend" Zainal Abidin Hassan who now helms Penang. The duo were buddies during their days in the national team.

"We cannot take Penang for granted although they are bottom of the table. Their position is not a true reflection of their abilities.

"We will be playing at their home and I believe they will be coming out with guns blazing."
