KUALA LUMPUR: Fans who failed to get tickets for Tuesday's AFF Cup final first leg at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil will be able to watch the match on big screen at the adjacent Axiata Arena.

Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said he was sympathetic to fans who failed to get tickets for the final.

On Sunday, a huge number of fans gathered, some a day before, at the National Stadium but ticket counters were closed within 30 minutes.

Things turn chaotic when fans were told that tickets were sold out.

Tickets are being sold between RM90 and RM170 in the black market and available at an online classified ad website. The original price is RM40.

Only 15,000 fans will be allowed into Axiata Arena.
