KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) will be using its own logo for the 15th General Election (GE15).

Muda deputy president Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz, announcing this today, said the party is still maintaining an electoral pact with Pakatan Harapan (PH).

She said a meeting with PH will be held to explain the matter.

"I am ready to meet the PH leaders to explain more on the decision on use of the logo, as well as other matters.

"Hopefully Muda-PH receives full support from the people in GE15," she said.

Amira said several decisions were made in the electoral pact with PH, apart from the use of their own logo.

She said Muda has agreed to support PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the pact's prime minister candidate, and it has agreed to the seat allocation with PH to avoid any overlaps.

"The decisions were also made in good faith and are final," she said.

Muda has so far announced four candidates in GE15.

Muhammad Danial Abdul Majeed, Siti Rahayu Baharin, and Lim Wei Jiet will be contesting in Kepala Batas (Penang), Tanjong Karang (Selangor) and Tanjung Piai (Johor), respectively.

Shahrizal Denci, meanwhile, is the sole Muda candidate in Sabah, contesting the Kota Marudu seat.
