KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) has denied any involvement in the national roadshow organised by Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Its secretary-general Amir Hadi took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and said this decision was not made by the party and was never discussed at the party's executive council.

"It is understood that there is no agreement to participate in the 'Jelajah PN'.

"We hope that no party will arbitrarily issue statements linking Muda, Muda members of parliament, or Muda leadership before the party's decision," he said.

PN intends to undertake a nationwide tour dubbed "Jelajah PN" with the purpose of addressing current issues and soliciting public feedback.

PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the third force in the opposition bloc and Muar member of parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, would also participate in the tour.

In response to a question regarding the tour's commencement date, he said it would take place after Aidilfitiri.
