KUALA KRAI: A carcass of a tiger was found floating in Sungai Dabong here this evening. Kelantan Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) director Mohamad Hafid Rohani stated that villagers discovered the carcass as they passed through the area. They promptly alerted the department.
"Following the report, we deployed a ranger team to the scene to investigate the incident," he said when contacted.
Hafid mentioned that the carcass was later transported to the National Wildlife Rescue Centre (NWRC) in Sungkai, Perak.
"It will undergo post-mortem at the centre, and we expect to receive the results soon," he added.
He urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the nearest wildlife office.
