KUALA LUMPUR: Two men who were involved in a "one-by-one" fight which went viral have buried the hatchet.

Penang police chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said both men have retracted their police reports and the case has been classified as No Further Action (NFA).

A photo of the duo shaking hands and smiling in the presence of policemen has now gone viral.

Many social media users reacted positively to the photo of the two men shaking hands, with some saying this was how disputes should be resolved and others praising the duo for making peace.

Earlier this week, it was reported that police detained the two men after the video of their brawl at a grocery store in Seberang Jaya went viral.

The brawl stemmed from a misunderstanding which led to a "one-by-one" fight.

The confrontation escalated outside the premises, where one of the men struck the salesperson's head with a helmet.
