SEGAMAT: Five vehicles that were parked in the parking lot of a supermarket in Taman Yayasan were damaged by a fallen tree during a storm this afternoon.
The spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department , Assistant Fire Superintendent Muhd Hazim Abdul Razak, said the department received an emergency call at 6.21pm.
"A large tree about 13 metres long fell and hit five vehicles, involving a Proton Waja, Proton Wira, Perodua Bezza, Perodua Viva and Honda CRV.
"However, there were no victims involved in the incident," he said.
Five firemen equipped with a machine from the Segamat Fire and Rescue Station were involved in the operation.
