KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Youth Council (MBM) is urging all parties, especially youth, to embrace the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri by fostering stronger bonds through visits and seeking forgiveness.

Secretary-general Hasnul Haniff Harun today said this festive season offered a chance for people to get to know each other better by setting aside disagreements and political views.

"The MBM hopes that issues that have caused uneasiness in the community can be alleviated.

"Every community, especially the youth, needs to bring about a narrative of unity rather than spreading conflict.

"The MBM reminds people, especially drivers returning home for the holidays, to drive carefully."
