KLANG: Police have identified the pilot and co-pilot of the light aircraft model BK 160 Gabriel that crashed in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar, today.
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar said that, according to the flight manifest, the individuals involved are Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon, 30, and Roshaan Singh Raina, 42.
He added that the victims, believed to be from Johor and Penang, were found around 2pm inside the cockpit.
Earlier Hussein confirmed the fatalities of the pilot and co-pilot of the light aircraft in the incident.
He was quoted as saying that the bodies of both local men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were discovered inside the cockpit of the aircraft, which was buried more than two meters in the ground.
He stated that the police received information about the incident at 1.45pm
According to him, the bodies are expected to be retrieved within three hours before being sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) for further investigation.
