KUALA LUMPUR: Hip-hop singer and entrepreneur Caprice's wife Farra Inalis has defended her action of forcing an individual to kneel in front of her and apologise.

In an Instagram Story post yesterday, Farra said that the man had "cruelly insulted" her newborn son Airiel Qashaf by calling him "ugly", "stone-faced" and "babi" ("pig").

"No mother would want to see her child being insulted mercilessly, after risking her life to give birth to a healthy, happy baby," she said.

Farra urged netizens to stop "playing ustaz and ustazah" by passing judgement on others without knowing the truth.

"What I did to that man is fully justified, after what he said about my baby. He needed to be taught a costly lesson."

Farra also said that each person had his or her own level of patience, and tolerating nasty behaviour of others had its limits.

"That man is lucky that I only made him to kneel down and apologise. I could have removed his teeth if I wanted to!"

Farra recently uploaded an Instagram video which showed the man identified as Irfan kneeling and apologising in front of her for insulting Airiel.

However, many netizens slammed Farra's actions as "cruel".

Caprice subsequently defended his wife on Instagram, and said that people should not be too "nice" to those who insult their children.

Farra and Caprice whose real name is Ariz Ramli were married in November 2022. Their son was born in March.

Farra also has a daughter Aleesya Sofea from her previous marriage.
