KUANTAN: A man who was reported missing at the Sungai Jempol pump house, in Jengka 4, Maran, was found drowned at 7.05pm today.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) spokesman Zulfadli Zakaria said the victim, Mohd Rohaizan Abdullah, 51, was found about 700 metres from where his motorcycle was located.
The victim, a person with disabilities who was residing at Felda Ulu Jempol, Maran, failed to return home after going out at 8am yesterday. His motorcycle was found at the pump house this afternoon.
Meanwhile, in another incident, Zulfadli said the department was informed that a man was feared drowned in Sungai Emas, Sungai Lembing here at 3.50pm today.
However, the victim has yet to be identified and a search and rescue (SAR) operation was activated this evening.– BERNAMA
