SHAH ALAM: The wreckage of the aircraft at the Elmina crash site will be removed from ground zero on Monday.
Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department Shah Alam zone deputy chief Samsol Maarif Saibani said that the wreckage of the aircraft and the vehicle that it struck will remain at the ground zero where it will be guarded by the police until Monday, when it will be removed.
"The wreckage will be closed off and police will guard the site around the clock.
"The wreckage will then be removed from the site on Monday," he said when met by the media.
He also said that following the cleanup operations, Persiaran Elmina will be opened up for public use starting 3pm this afternoon.
Yesterday, the Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1), a six-seater aircraft registered as N28JV, crashed near Elmina, Shah Alam during its approach into Subang Airport from Langkawi.
The devastating crash resulted in the loss of all eight individuals aboard the aircraft, along with two additional casualties among road users.
