KLANG: The body of the two victims involved in the crash of a light aircraft near Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar, have been successfully retrieved.

Members from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department and other agencies involved were seen placing the bodies into two separate police trucks at 8pm.

Both the trucks left the crash site at around 8.10pm, heading towards Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang for further process.

Earlier at 7pm, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan in a press conference confirmed the deaths of the two victims onboard.

He said the 1,300 kilogramme aircraft, belonging to a recreational flight company plunged and buried more than two metres deep.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the two passengers in the light aircraft that crashed were Malaysians.

According to reports, the Malaysian men were identified as Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon, 30 and Roshaan Singh Rania, 42.

Hussein said further investigations will be conducted by the Transport Ministry's Air Accident Investigation Bureau.

The BK 160 Gabriel light aircraft bearing registration number I-POOC is operated by Air Adventure Flying Club.

It departed from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Selangor at 1.28pm for a recreational flight.
