SHAH ALAM: Federal Criminal Investigation Director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has called on everyone to respect the sensitivity of the family of victims involved in the Elmina air crash.

"Please respect the sensitivity of the Elmina air crash victims and don't share any viral videos regarding the incident.

"Instead of viralling the videos, the public should hand them over to the police to assist in the investigation," he said when met at the crash site.

Meanwhile, Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that the police had called up several eyewitnesses in regards to the incident to assist in investigations.

Among the witnesses are residents from the nearby neighbourhood.

Earlier, the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain at a press conference said that the search operation was 95 per cent complete with all 10 remains of the victims recovered.

He said that the search operation was expected to end this afternoon.

Yesterday, the six-seater Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) bearing the registration number N28JV, crashed near Elmina, Shah Alam during its approach into Subang Airport from Langkawi.

The crash had killed all eight people onboard and two road users.
