KUALA LUMPUR: The sister of a man who lost RM30,000 after the money fell off the boot of his car, has offered a small reward to those who can return the cash.

Wan Mastura Wan Leh, 26, sister of Wan Ibrahim, 24, appealed to the public who took her brother's hard-earned money to return it

"My brother planned to use the money to further develop his barbershop business, but his motivation has been thrown off due to this incident.

"We hope more people will come forward to return the money they collected during the day and a small reward will be given," she said when contacted.

In an incident that occurred last Wednesday, Wan Ibrahim lost about RM30,000 when the cash of more than RM60,000 fell off the boot of his car and was scattered on Jalan Kota Bharu-Kuala Terengganu near Kampung Lak Lok.

He had forgotten that he had placed a cloth bag containing the cash on top of the boot of his Honda Civic as he made his way from home to deposit the money at a bank in the city.

A police report has been made at Kampung Raja police station.

"We hope that any individual who took the money will return it to us. Anyone with any information can contact me at 013-5395538," she said.
