SHAH ALAM: Nestled among corporate offices at Seksyen 13 Worldwide Business Centre here is a quaint restaurant owned by Zainal Mat Aini and his wife.
Named after an English flower which is also the title of a novel by Zainal's wife titled "Anna Floretta", the cafe serves simple Western cuisine.
"I wanted a comfortable and casual place in Shah Alam near my home where my friends and customers can enjoy lamb chop, chicken chop and butter chicken along with mushroom soup.
"These are all my own recipes and I use my own ingredients," said Zainal.
The ambience of the cafe is distinctly English with a corner for live music by Zainal himself on keyboard and guitar.
This family business is assisted by his two children, with pastries baked by his daughter served with English tea.
Zainal was a human resources head in a financial company previously and this small cafe business helped him through the pandemic.
