TAWAU: A Deputy Public Prosecutor was sentenced to 12 months in prison and fined RM250,000 by the Special Corruption Sessions Court here today after being found guilty of soliciting a bribe amounting to RM50,000 nine years ago.

Judge Jason Juga made the ruling against Kamalia Yahdi, 41, after the court found that the prosecution successfully proved the case beyond reasonable doubt.
