KUCHING : Home Ministry names Former Moro National Liberation Front leader Nur Misuari as the man behind the latest armed incursion in Mabul Island.
Its Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said investigations shows the fugitive is using various mercenary groups to conduct snatch-and-grab operations in Sabah eastern coast.
"We believe he has a bigger plan behind all this,"said Zahid when attending breaking of fast at Al Mujahiddin Mosque at the State Police Quarters here.
Zahid also said the government is working closely with their counterparts in Philippines on the matter.
