IPOH: Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah will be crowned as the state's thirty-fifth ruler today.

He said the enthronement ceremony is held with the purpose of reminding the people of the country's history, grounded in courtesy and upheld by custom.

"As the appointed Sultan, it is my responsibility to preserve the courtesy and custom which have been inherited since the days of the first ruler.”
