KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall issued 338 compound notices under Ops Halang in the Bukit Bintang vicinity yesterday.

The notices were issued to vehicles violating the Road Transport Act 1987 and Traffic Rules 1959, said City Hall in a post on Facebook.

City Hall also towed 8 vehicles for various offences, transporting them to a vehicle storage depot on Jalan Pekeliling.

The enforcement initiative was led by City Hall's enforcement department in collaboration with the police's Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department and the Road Transport Department (RTD).
