SHAH ALAM: Police have arrested four men, aged between 22 and 26, to assist in the murder investigation of a young man in Dataran Otomobil, Section 15, here on Wednesday.

According to a source, the men were arrested within a couple of hours after the murder.

The police are looking into the possibility of gang-rivalry as the motive for murder and are also looking for more suspects. Anyone with information on the case has been asked to come forward to assist them.

The New Straits Times yesterday reported of the gruesome murder of the man by a group. The assailants slashed the victim with machetes and took off with his right arm.

In the 5.30am incident, the 27-year old victim was said to have had just finished his meal at a restaurant in the area when a group of four to five men in masks attacked him.

The attack caused a panic in the restaurant with many customers running helter-skelter.

The victim was found dead and covered in blood, some 100 meters away from the restaurant by witnesses.

His body sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang, for post-mortem.
