KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actor Datuk Rosyam Nor fondly remembers acting with model and actress Nasha Aziz in Laila Isabella back in 2003.
Fans of the romantic comedy directed by Rashid Sibir have praised Rosyam and Nasha for their great onscreen chemistry.
Some even speculated that there might have been "off-screen romance" between them back then.
"No, there wasn't. Thank you for your compliments but we were only a couple in the story," said Rosyam in a recent interview with Molek FM radio announcer DJ Nazz.
"Nasha is a real beauty. I admire her a lot but my wife is a lot more beautiful in my eyes," said Rosyam.
Netizens praised Rosyam for being a faithful husband and family man, and a true professional when it came to working with his beautiful co-star.
Rosyam also revealed that Nasha helped him choose the right outfits for every scene in the movie.
In return he guided her in playing the naive but resilient heroine Laila Isabella effectively.
"We had a specific wardrobe on the set.
"I wasn't good at choosing the right outfits, so here is where her experience as a model came in.
"I am always thankful to Nasha for helping me choose the best outfit for each scene," said Rosyam.
