KUALA LUMPUR: Irish pop group Westlife is set to return to Malaysia on June 9.
A statement from organiser MMIC Entertainment Group said that the trio's Hits Tour will take Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan around the East Asian region with stopovers in Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
Egan, Byrne and Filan will delight fans with their hits like My Love, Swear It Again and Uptown Girl.
This will be the first time Westlife performs as a trio following Mark Feehily's decision to leave the band last month as a result of health issues.
In early March, Feehily posted a statement on Instagram that he would not be touring with his fellow members to prioritise his recovery.
Feehily said that he had to undergo four major surgeries for sepsis and hernia between August 2020 and March.
Westlife's concert will be held at the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting at 6pm on June 9.
Ticket sales will begin on Friday and tickets are priced from RM388 to RM1,188.
