KUALA LUMPUR: Konsert Patah Hati, which was first held on March 15, returned with a bang featuring seven popular young singer-songwriters tonight.

Konsert Patah Hati 2.0 took place at 8.30pm at Zepp KL in Bukit Bintang City Centre, Jalan Hang Tuah and was attended by over 2,000 guests.

Organised by ANS Diversified Sdn Bhd with the support of My Creative Ventures and the Communications and Digital Ministry, it featured regulars Naim Daniel, Aisha Retno and Ernie Zakri plus Syamel Fodzly, Ismail Izzani, Nadeera Zaini and Neeta Manis.

With Neon as its theme, the three-hour concert saw each artiste dressed in luminous outfits perform about 5 to 10 songs each, and these included Sembilu by Syamel and Ernie, Belakang Tabir (Syamel), Masing-Masing (Ernie), BBF and Kajang (Naim), Cukuplah and Terbang (Aisha), Sabar and Luar Biasa (Ismail), Sebuah Rasa and Emas (Nadeera) and Hanya Mimpi and Move On (Neeta).

The concert's director, Ahmad Faizal Zulkipli, said that they planned to have it once or twice a year, depending on public support.

"It's an annual concert that targets young Malaysians, and even if we have repeat performers, there will always be first-timers in each season," he said.

"We decided to keep the name Patah Hati because we believe that music heals the soul and brings joy to sad and lonely people. Patah Hati offers upbeat and power-packed songs that lift up everyone's spirits," said Ahmad Faizal.

"Music fans love concerts that are full of bright lights and colours. That is why we have decided to go all out and illuminate the stage and the performers' costumes."

He said that they chose to retain Ernie, Aisha and Naim as they had a strong following amongst young music lovers.

The first concert, which was also held at Zepp KL, featured singers Noh Salleh, Nastia and Imsomniacks besides Ernie, Naim and Aisha.
